Job Title: Assistant Manager - Operations
Reports To: OperationsManager / General Manager
Job Summary:
TheAssistant Manager - Operations supports the Operations Manager inoverseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient processes, andmaintaining high-quality service standards. This role involvesmanaging teams, coordinating workflows, and driving continuousimprovement initiatives to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing daily operational activities to meet company objectives.
Supervise and guide operational staff, providing training and support as needed.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, HR, finance, and logistics.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues promptly.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Assist with vendor management and procurement processes.
Support implementation of technology and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations or management roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and operational software/tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Office and/or on-site operational environment.
May require occasional extended hours or weekend work.
