Purpose of the role:


To support the Supervisor and Facilities Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of site facilities, ensuring maintenance activities, soft services, and vendor coordination are delivered efficiently. The role ensures smooth execution of tasks aligned with client expectations, service level agreements (SLAs), and company standards.

The role includes but is not limited to:


  • Assist in supervising daily operations and upkeep of the facility including maintenance, cleaning, and other soft services

  • Monitor performance of technicians, cleaners, and support staff on site

  • Act as the first point of contact for client queries or service requests and resolve them efficiently

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for scheduled works and maintenance activities

  • Ensure preventive and reactive maintenance tasks are completed as per schedule

  • Report any incidents, breakdowns, or service delays to the Supervisor/Manager

  • Conduct periodic inspections and audits of the facility for quality and safety compliance

  • Maintain records of site activities, maintenance logs, attendance, and stock usage

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure team adherence to HSE standards

  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving practices

Qualification / Experience


Education


  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience


  • 1-2 years


Knowledge & Key Skills


  • Good understanding of facilities management practices and building maintenance

  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in using CAFM or site management tools (preferred)

  • Basic computer and reporting skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
