Job Brief : As an Engineer - Facilities at EFS UAE in the United Arab Emirates, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and management of various facilities within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems, implementing maintenance programs, and optimizing facility performance. This role requires a deep understanding of Facility Planning and Design, Facility Management Engineering, and Institutional Maintenance and Repair within the Facilities Services industry.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement facility maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functioning of all systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate facility projects and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Oversee compliance with local regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Analyze facility data and performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead emergency response procedures and protocols to address facility-related incidents effectively and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on facility-related matters to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to facility operations, including maintenance logs, reports, and budgets.
