Job Brief : As a Senior Engineer - Facilities at EFS UAE in the Facilities Services industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of various infrastructure facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and functionality of the facilities under your supervision. This position requires a seasoned professional with 6 to 10 years of experience in facility engineering, project management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning and execution of facility infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facility systems to identify and address maintenance needs and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of facility assets.
- Optimize facility operations by identifying inefficiencies and implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards in all facility projects.
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and sustainable practices into facility management strategies.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, forecasting expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale facility projects with a focus on infrastructure development.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and present technical information clearly.
- Analytical mindset to assess complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
