Required Work Experience : Occupational Driving Instructor

Degree : Bachelor of Arts - BA | Associate of Science - AS | Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS

Required Knowledge :

• health and safety measures in transportation

• customer service

• mechanical components of vehicles

• road traffic laws

• passenger transport regulations

• geographic areas

• driving examinations

Required Skills : Driving Process, Counseling, Recruit Bus Drivers, Teaching, Test Analysis, Coach Clients

Primary Responsibility :

• ensure vehicle operability

• apply intercultural teaching strategies

• assess students

• control the performance of the vehicle

• use different communication channels

• observe student's progress

• drive vehicles

• apply teaching strategies

• adapt teaching to student's capabilities

• interpret traffic signals

• park vehicles

• give constructive feedback

• adapt instruction to labour market

• assist students in their learning

• guarantee students' safety

• teach driving practices

• perform defensive driving
