ASSISTANT MANAGER - FACILITIES

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations Management

    • Support the Facility Manager in managing soft and hard services, including cleaning, security, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the maintenance team and service providers.
    • Monitor the performance of contractors and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  2. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

    • Assist in planning and implementing PPM schedules to minimize downtime and ensure asset longevity.
    • Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure timely follow-up on unresolved issues.
  3. Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM)

    • Utilize the CAFM system to track work orders, asset history, and inventory.
    • Generate regular reports to monitor operational efficiency and maintenance costs.
  4. Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)

    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all facility operations.
    • Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Promote sustainability initiatives and energy-saving practices.
  5. Vendor and Budget Management

    • Assist in preparing budgets for facility operations and ensure expenses are within allocated limits.
    • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services.
  6. Client and Stakeholder Engagement

    • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  7. Team Supervision and Training
